These new and exciting Gold Coast restaurants for 2022, are going to improve an already top-line dining scene. Basically, they range from re-launches of some of our favourite Gold Coast stalwarts to intriguing new faces in the gourmet world. Get your diaries ready, Gold Coast. Here is the answer to your question, what are the Gold Coast’s newest and best eateries and restaurants in 2022?
The Gold coast has been lucky this year to have a number of excellent new eateries and restaurants opening. Our choice of them is: Gold Coast’s best new restaurants include Yo-Chi, Siblings, Pablito’s, Piatto, Wavybone, Rosé Gelateria, The Beverly, and Coral Moon.
Yo-Chi
Yo-Chi is the fastest-growing frozen yogurt company in Australia. It launched its very first Gold Coast spot in Broadbeach, and we’re immediately salivating. Moreover, Yo-Chi has opened its Robina and Soul Surfers Paradise locations.
The gourmet frozen yogurt shop offers a dizzying array of fro-yo flavours. Among those are strawberry cream and salted butterscotch, which must unavoidably be piled high with decadent toppings. Everything from watermelon and mint to fresh cookie dough and fruit pearls is on the table.
The launch of the new location coincides with Yo-new Chi’s chef collaboration series. This series offers renowned chefs the chance to design a one-of-a-kind custom topping for a month.
Siblings
Siblings are among the hidden gem restaurants on the Gold Coast. It’s located directly on the beachfront of Kirra, honoring the water in the finest way imaginable. Live it up in true Mediterranean island style as you sip delicious char-grilled king prawns with kombu butter and baby capers on the deck.
You can also treat yourself to a heartier dish like the bug meat and prawn risotto with pink champagne cream. In our humble opinion, it’s the ideal southern Gold Coast dining experience.
Coral Moon
Coral Moon is your newest afternoon sunset session spot. This place is also great for date nights, or social cocktails with relaxed fireplace seating. As well as its sweeping perspective over the Pacific Ocean. It’s an open-air, fresh cocktail bar boasting sparkling ocean views.
The snacks and cocktail menus both highlight local produce and spirits from all over Gold Coast with an Asian-inspired twist. It includes signature drinks like the Matcha Muchness, which includes matcha, lychee, local gin, lemon, and aquafaba. Besides, they also serve Fluorescence (Maraschino Luxardo, Midori, baiju, and shimmer).
Additionally, they serve snacks like barbecue pork bao, and pumpkin and eggplant tempura. You can also enjoy Cantonese-style fried chicken. On the third floor of The Langham, Coral Moon is now open every Wednesday through Sunday from 4 – 10 pm.
The Beverly
Another excellent restaurant and entertainment venue on the Gold Coast is The Beverly. Two years after Gold Coast landmark Melbas closed its doors, the vacant space got a posh new occupant. The Beverly, a classy and stylish hotel, opened its doors for the first of many wonderful evenings. You’ll find it in the centre of Cavill Avenue, pays tribute to its L.A. blush pinks, rich greens, and golds that make up the bright colour scheme of the namesake. Also, there is an A-list of cocktails and spectacular live entertainment to boot.
Live performances will take place on a stage with a baby grand piano and a bespoke flower design. This sets the tone for daytime soirees that build into late-night celebrations. The carefully chosen cocktail menu includes ten seasonal mocktails and cocktails. They also offer a premium selection of champagne, spirits, wine, and beers.
The Beverly is modeled after the hospitality establishments of Los Angeles, which are known for offering guests more than simply “another watering hole” but rather a multi-sensory, dynamic experience. This place is open from 5 pm until late on Friday and Saturday nights.
Rosé Gelateria
I am delighted that Rosé Gelateria, which originally opened its doors at Sanctuary Cove last year, is already moving into their second location. The second Rosé Gelateria is located in the centre of Main Beach. It is as stunning as the first; think delicious dusty pink tones, pops of gold and white accent, and lovely booth-style seating.
If you’re looking for Gold Coast restaurants with little additional energy with your sweet treat, you may sip on coffee made with Single O beans—the latte art alone is worth the visit. Their exquisite gelato collection comprises 32 artisan Artisan flavours. In addition, they even have Nutella on tap as the cherry on top (or, should I say, the chocolate on top). Unquestionably, anything covered in Nutella tastes great.
Wavybone
There are plenty of hip coffee shops on the Gold Coast, but when you hear that a throwback coffee caravan turned specialty coffee store has expanded, you get there right away. In addition to sharing a venue with the hip Barber Bro’s & Co. in Broadbeach, Wavybone has expanded after earning a loyal following in its vintage coffee caravan. As the culturally produced coffee establishment has already impacted the northern Gold Coast at its original Chirn Park location, Wavybone’s southern Gold Coast customers now have a place to receive their daily elixir dosage.
You can anticipate high-quality latte art at this hip place, where you can be sure to obtain a mug of locally brewed Blackboard Coffee that is of the highest caliber. After you’ve satisfied your caffeine craving, delight in one of their famous smashed avocados or choose from a delectable selection of baked pastries and bagels.
Piatto
Don’t they simply keep cramming them into Mermaid? Not that we’re unhappy, mind you. The crew behind the beloved Lupo, which recently ceased operations but was replaced by this lovely new establishment, is behind the real Italian diner Piatto. Modern Italian dishes like 30-month prosciutto and melon, beautiful “silk handkerchiefs” with mushrooms and egg yolk, and King George whiting with capers and tomatoes are just a few of the delectable antipasti, pasta, and pasta dishes served at Piatto. Your next date night will be great at this cozy new Gold Coast restaurant, which will instantly transport you to Italy without needing a flight.
Pablito’s
The Pablito‘s was created by the crew behind Tugun’s renowned Caracara Cantina out of a love for delectable food and fine tequila. Pablito’s is an ordinary Mexican cantina, but it is a brand-new restaurant in Sanctuary Cove that features Caribbean flavours and a predominantly vegetarian and gluten-free menu (don’t worry, carnivores, you are also well cared for). This vibrant jewel often serves over 50 different tequilas, mezcals, and flavour-infused margaritas across the bar. The group should head north to start dining at one of the best new eateries on the Gold Coast.
