Paddock Bakery

Paddock Bakery is the best breakfast spot in Burleigh Heads. It is also a favourite venue for brunch on the coast, a must-visit location!

The clever people at Paddock opened a shop in an old Queenslander house and transformed it, along with the garden, into a tranquil spot for delicious food. There are a lot of delicious options on the menu, such as their renowned rustic avo, doughnut french toast, pea and halloumi fritters, and dippy eggs (which are only $13.9 as of the date of this writing).

Cardamom Pod

Cardamom Pod is another perfect spot to get the best breakfast or brunch on the Gold Coast, especially if you’re on a vegetarian diet. It has the most beautiful plant-based plates imaginable and was named 2018’s Gold Coast’s Bulletin’s Best Breakfast Restaurant.

As a culinary artist, head chef Manju Pinnell uses ingredients like ube (purple yam), blue spirulina, turmeric, pink pitaya, and beetroot. The oversized Snickers bowl makes smoothie fantasies come true. You can also try the pumpkin protein pancakes covered in saucy chocolate, the Pod’s homemade, healthier version of Nutella.

Bumbles Cafe is the best breakfast spot in Surfers Paradise. It is located along the beautiful Gold Coast waterways and is a popular local hangout. It’s a big call, but bumbles on the Gold Coast make my favourite cup of coffee! They serve delicious Australian butter, Panya sourdough bread, bumbles own honey, and jams for breakfast and lunch. I’m a crumpet addict and adore their sourdough varieties!

In addition to their delicious breakfast options, Bumbles Cafe also offers an exquisite high tea experience on the Gold Coast. Indulge in a variety of savoury and sweet treats, along with your choice of tea or coffee, all served on a three-tiered stand for an elegant and sophisticated touch.
