The massive event will be comparable to California’s Pacific Airshow in Huntington Beach. It will attract more than three million visitors annually and is organized by Code Four in the US.
Jan McCormick, CEO of Major Events Gold Coast, stated that obtaining the Pacific Airshow for five years was a real game-changer for the Gold Coast. In her statement, she says that the exciting five consecutive years of partnership can establish Gold Coast’s reputation as a world-class events destination that can host the biggest shows worldwide like the Pacific Airshow.
She also stated that the show would positively affect the economy for businesses in Surfers Paradise and restaurants, hotels, event industry supply chain, and retail across the Goldie and greater Southeast Queensland areas.

Tom Tate, the Mayor of the Gold Coast, stated that Australia has never hosted an air event of this scale. For this reason, the Gold Coast is a popular destination for enjoyment on the ground or in the air.
According to Kevin Elliott, CEO of Code Four, the Pacific Airshow on the Gold Coast will be an incredible event. He also says it will be an international airshow combined with a lifestyle festival best for families, changing the sky over the beach of Surfers Paradise into the biggest stage in Australia.
